Once, in the ancient land of Sumer, there lived a wise and righteous king named Ziusudra. He ruled over his people with compassion and was beloved by all. But little did he know that his destiny would intertwine with a cataclysmic event that would forever be etched in the annals of human history.

Ziusudra, also a revered priest, had always been attuned to the whispers of the gods. It was on one fateful day as he conducted a sacred ritual at the Temple of Eridu when the deity Enki chose to reveal a great secret to him. The god's voice echoed in his mind, urging Ziusudra to listen carefully.

"Ziusudra, my faithful servant," Enki's voice boomed. "A great deluge shall soon wash over the Earth. Build a massive ark and take with you your loved ones and creatures from every corner of creation. Only then shall you find salvation."

The king’s heart pounded in his chest as he absorbed the divine message. He understood the gravity of the task and vowed to fulfill his duty. Ziusudra summoned the finest artisans and architects and embarked on the monumental task of constructing the ark.
